My advice? Well, I had to get out of my head for this course. The assignment scenarios are about an industry where I have zero experience, and so in the beginning, I was sort of panicking. What helped was attending my live classroom sessions and doing a little bit of reading on my own so I understood enough about it to apply the risk management concepts to the given situation.

I'm not going to lie--this course was challenging for me because I think I was sort of used to the textbook having all the answers, and I had to go beyond the book for a couple of assignments. My instructor was really good about filling in the gaps, but I also met with a tutor who was able to help me do a little bit of my own research to help me get some of the topics that just weren't making sense to me. The tutor was a student, and so she got it and was able to help.
