What is the history of the Mokena/Tinley Park campus?
Rasmussen University is a regionally accredited private college and has been dedicated to changing lives and the communities it serves through its career-focused and flexible educational programs since 1900. The University is committed to academic innovation and providing the highest standard of education while empowering students to pursue a college degree. The University offers Certificate and Diploma programs through Associate’s, Bachelor’s andMaster’s degree programs onlineand across its 23 Midwest and Florida campuses.
The Mokena/Tinley Park campus opened in 2010 and has been dedicated to student success since opening its doors. Located just over 30 miles from Chicago, the Mokena/Tinley Park campus is one of four campuses the University operates inIllinois.

Where is the Mokena/Tinley Park campus located?
This suburban southern Chicago campus is conveniently located right off Interstate 88 between Harlem Avenue and LaGrange Road. There is ample free parking available for students, faculty, staff and visitors on site.
What programs are offered at the Mokena/Tinley Park campus?
Students can take courses residentially and have access to more than 30 programsonline. Programs are taught by qualified professionals across seven schools of study including Business, Design, Education, Health Sciences, Justice Studies, Nursing and Technology.

What resources and support services are offered at the Mokena/Tinley Park campus?
Students have access to study spaces and computer labs on campus. In addition, advisors are available to help answer your specific questions and guide you on your educational journey. These advisors assist students with their questions about course scheduling, financial aid and learning support.
In addition to on-campus, in-person resources, students also have real-time access to everything they need, from academics to financial aid via the online Student Portal. The online Student Portal is the gateway to a variety of self-service tools, from course materials, grades, account balance, financial aid and library resources to career help and even 24/7 tech help.
